The memory remains.... 14th december 2013 an early wake by my alarm. Stepping on my bike and cycle to Utrecht. Outside it’s cold but inside I feel warm. Will I be one of the lucky bastards to get hold of a hardcopy ticket for Editors playing a show in the old Tivoli during the ‘tijdloos’ (timeless) performances before closing of this wondergull theatre? The selling takes place in Plato record store in the old fashion way! Arriving early I notice there is already a small que, but I guess it will be fine! I end up waiting several hours, have nice conversations and than the store opens. I’m in and manage to get hold of a ticket....yeahh I feel damn lucky although there are still some months waiting prior to your performance! The time flies and before I realize it, it’s wednesday 26 februari 2014, the day of the gig. As always you give a amazing performance. Dispite I feel sad because my favorite stage is closing it’s doors soon. I couldn’t have wished for a better memory than your performance that night. Keep up making beautiful music, so that world can make beautiful memories!
