Editors will mean something to someone
From : Akemi Ishimoto
It's 2013 that the last time I saw your show at Hostess Club Weekender (Yebisu Garden Hall, Tokyo, Japan). It's an one of the best happiest weekend in my life even now! This Polaroid is the present from the label which organized that event. I was very happy to seeing you and getting this awesome thing! I realized again the splendor of Editors and I was looking forward to seeing you again. It was the last month of 2019, Editors has never been to Japan since 2013. I know the reason. The situation of Rock music overseas in Japan is not good seriously. I can go to overseas for seeing your show but I want you come to Japan. Because I know the people in Japan who wait you come and I want more Japanese people know your music AND I WANT THEM TO FEEL YOUR AMESING PERFORMANCE!!! It's a very few things I can. Buying your records, telling your music to my friends or by SNS. But I never give up. I've been helped by your songs many many times. "Every little piece of your SOUND will add up to one Every little piece of your LYRICS will mean something to someone." Right?
The Black Gold Archives

Welcome to the Black Gold Archives. Explore the timeline as it chronicles sixteen tracks that make up the Black Gold greatest hits record and discover stories from each song. Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.

Explore the Black Gold Archive at your leisure and share in the moments that crafted Editors. And don’t forget to leave something to show the world that you were part of the journey too.
