First song I ever heard from Editors
From : Evelien De Loof
Four years ago I took part in reflection days, which was organised by my secondary school. The purpose of this trip was to get to know me better. I stayed in a monastery that was located in the woods. There was no internet connection or mobile range. In the daytime, I kept the monastery garden in good condition. In my spare time, I loved walking in the woods. During these walks, I constantly hummed the melody of ‘Ocean of Night'. I heard that song a couple of times on the radio before, but I didn't know who was the performer. I didn't even know of the existence of the band Editors. When I came home, I researched the band. I discovered all the songs they've already made. Since then, I never stopped listening to Editors. Suppose that, throughout these reflection days, I found a part of me I didn't know yet, actually I'm an Editors fan!
The Black Gold Archives

Welcome to the Black Gold Archives. Explore the timeline as it chronicles sixteen tracks that make up the Black Gold greatest hits record and discover stories from each song. Videos, photos and memories written by the band and people who lived through every era of Editors. And, most importantly, add your own memory to the archives and let the whole world share in it. Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.

Explore the Black Gold Archive at your leisure and share in the moments that crafted Editors. And don’t forget to leave something to show the world that you were part of the journey too.
