“I’m glad I didn’t kill you”
From : Svenja
It was my 50th Editors show on October 16th 2018. I saw the band in Dublin at Vicar Street. It was a rather small venue with a low stage and I was front row right in the middle and super excited for the gig. I don't know how it happened but during Violence Tom accidentally dropped his mic stand and it landed right between my hands on the barrier almost hitting me. I didn't even realise what had happened until Tom leaned forward and grabbed my hand and asked me if I was ok. Then the guy next to me was like OMG he almost hit your head which I hadn't even realised. That made for some good adrenaline pumping through my veins for the rest of the show haha!! After the show some friends and I waited for the guys to come out and Tom jokingly said "I'm glad I didn't kill you". Yup. Thanks. What an eventful night!

Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.
