In my arms
From : Jean
I discovered Editors a bit by surprise at Les Eurockéennes, Belfort, France in 2017; and this concert was one of the best in my life, some kind of revelation : songs, lights, fire, crowd, and the alchemy between the musicians, everything was just perfect So I instantly bought tickets a few months later when they announced a concert where I live, in Strasbourg, France I met a girl the month before, and asked her if she wanted to come and see the show with me, and so this was one of our first night-out together Again the concert was incredible, we danced, we sang (this time I knew all the songs and lyrics of course) and were having a very, very good time And Tom took the guitar, alone on stage, and started to play this beautiful song ; "I'll carry you in my arms" he sang, and I took her in mine It was 03.20.2018, and I still hold her <3 Sometimes, when we don't see each other for a couple of days, she puts this song, takes me in her arms, and asks me "Est-ce que je peux bury my face in your shoulder ?", and I'm the happiest man on earth as we keep holding each other Thank you Editors for your music, your intensity and your talent; I wish you all the best, and I can't wait to see you again ! A French fan :)
