Music can lift the wheigh of the world
From : Michela Gaudiano
I met Editors 12 years ago with this song, i was 35 and sure than i never fall in love again with a band as i did with u2 in the 90s. It's easy when you are 20 years old, free and full of ideals and you have lot's of time to spend for your passions. When i heard Editors for the first time my life was "heavy", work, family, a daughter with a genetic syndrom, i have no time for me and no more freedom...but i fall in LOVE, like never before. Discover their songs before sleeping , listening to them on my mobile phone when i run to work, go to the concert every time they come to Italy... it's the only things that i do alone and the only things that i do for myself...and it's so stupid and so amazing and so good for my "Heavy" life! Thank you love replaces fear!
The Black Gold Archives

Welcome to the Black Gold Archives. Explore the timeline as it chronicles sixteen tracks that make up the Black Gold greatest hits record and discover stories from each song. Videos, photos and memories written by the band and people who lived through every era of Editors. And, most importantly, add your own memory to the archives and let the whole world share in it. Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.

Explore the Black Gold Archive at your leisure and share in the moments that crafted Editors. And don’t forget to leave something to show the world that you were part of the journey too.
