Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors Fan Memory
Soundtrack of my Life.
From : Epithelial Moraine
Smokers is a song that will always remind me of my job and the memories around my profession that I've collected over the years. As a nurse working in the field of cancer treatment, this is the song that pops up in my head whenever I'm at work; whether I'm on my own cigarette break, sharing a laugh with colleagues, or I'm taking a patient in a wheelchair outside to smoke a cigarette because there's nobody visiting them and it might as well be their last breath of fresh air outdoors. Also, during my first few days of nursing school, I found a heart-shaped picture of a person somebody probably once loved, tossed away on the sidewalk in front of the hospital. The first thing that came to my mind was 'Smokers outside the hospital doors' and the lyrics 'We've all been changed from what we were, our broken hearts left smashed on the floor'. So I took a picture for myself to cherish the moment and well, I'm happy to now share it with everybody else as well. Enjoy~
