The Dealing Rats
From : Marie
In September 2019 I bought a ticket to see Editors in Antwerp. The story really gets interesting the day before the release of Black Gold when I and two friends received a mail from Tele Ticket Service (Belgian official ticket seller) telling us they had “serious indications” that we were part of an organised network of illegal resellers, therefore, they would not send our tickets, we would have to wait 2 hours before the beginning of the concert to get them. We then discovered we (French) were linked to a famous Dutch reseller. I have to say, it was quite a surprise to discover I was such a felon as I only ever bought two tickets from them which makes me quite a bad reseller as I don’t buy a lot of tickets to begin with. Thankfully, after several, not always very nice, mails, all of our names were cleared, but, though I look forward to this gig, I will always remember that going to an Editors concert got me accused of being part of an international organised network of criminals.
The Black Gold Archives

Welcome to the Black Gold Archives. Explore the timeline as it chronicles sixteen tracks that make up the Black Gold greatest hits record and discover stories from each song. Videos, photos and memories written by the band and people who lived through every era of Editors. And, most importantly, add your own memory to the archives and let the whole world share in it. Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.

Explore the Black Gold Archive at your leisure and share in the moments that crafted Editors. And don’t forget to leave something to show the world that you were part of the journey too.
