The oh so new old guys!
From : Nadine
Sorry! One memory leads to another. Here is one more... :) In 2012 after Chris left the band I went to one of two Birmingham shows in June. For the first time they went on stage with the new members Justin & Elliott. That was kind of a rushed trip. My first plane was late, the security queues in Amsterdam endless, so i almost missed my connection flight, running the airport’s corridors to the gate. Last passenger entering the plane: ME! Trying to stow away my luggage, it felt like everyone was staring at me & it wasn’t even my fault. What an embarrassing moment! Hurried to the hotel after, took a speeding taxi to the venue & finally made it. They debuted a few new songs, including Nothing, which Tom used to play with a Mandolin back then, i fell in love with it straight away! Hopes are not gone yet they’ll put it back to the setlist some day! Also a rare gem like *You are fading* has been played for the refreshment & pleasure of our ears! And the oh so new guys were doing a great job, growing with the remaining band within all the years. After that they played one of their biggest headline shows so far at Rock Werchter in Belgium, sealing their future fate! And that was a memorable one i also went to a few days later! I really feared they might split when the news with Chris came up, right that moment my love for them got bigger & bigger... so glad they’re still existing, we all now where the story went... ā˜ŗļø And now I’ll shut up šŸ˜…
