Tivoli Utrecht (NL) 2014 and a cat
From : Iris
This concert was already special when the ticketsale started. The only way to get tickets was to go to Utrecht and queue for 3 hours, it was in December, so the temperature was not that nice and wet. But we were with only Editors fans, so it wasn't that bad. The concert itself was insane, only people who really wanted to be there, and everybody was singing, dancing and jumping throughout the whole concert. The temperature was rising, so almost everyone was taking clothes off. I never experienced something like this in my life, a night to remember. It even got better, at the end I managed to get a setlist, so my night was complete. After the show we went back to the trainstation, and while walking by a shop, there was a cat inside, at the other side of the window. Just sitting there, watching everyone passing by. We stopped for a moment and watched it, we both love cats, so that was a nice extra after the show. (Cat was fine btw) It was (and still is) the best concert of any band I've ever been to (and that's loads of them, 500+). And we still have a good laugh if we talk about it, and about the cat at the other side of the window. This October, we went to a acoustic show in Amsterdam, total opposite of Utrecht, and almost as special to me as the Utrecht show in 2014. This one was a nice show to celebrate my 20th Editors show. It was so quiet, nobody was making any sound. To me, going to an Editors show is always a surprise, it can be insane, or really small and intimate. That's why I love this band.
