Two Eventful Trips to Cambridge
From : Tom Wyatt
Cambridge Corn Exchange. I think it must have been 2009 or 2010 and my second ever concert (my first being at Alexandra Palace, also Editors). I would have been 13 or 14 and Dad picked me up from School in his van. I changed into my newly acquired, and very cool, skinny jeans on the way to Cambridge. We arrive and have dinner (I was too young for a pre-gig pint) and then head to the Exchange. It’s all locked up. Dad says that their must be a side entrance and we’re the wrong side. We aren’t. It’s the wrong night entirely. Thankfully, we are a day early rather than a day late. We return the next day to a fantastic gig. However, there is no encore as the gig is cut short by a fire alarm. Fantastic memories shared with my Dad and our mutual love for your music.
The Black Gold Archives

Welcome to the Black Gold Archives. Explore the timeline as it chronicles sixteen tracks that make up the Black Gold greatest hits record and discover stories from each song. Videos, photos and memories written by the band and people who lived through every era of Editors. And, most importantly, add your own memory to the archives and let the whole world share in it. Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.

Explore the Black Gold Archive at your leisure and share in the moments that crafted Editors. And don’t forget to leave something to show the world that you were part of the journey too.
