All sparks ….and even and end has a start..
From : V
I used to love and enjoy music. It was a very important part of my life and I went to many festival, concerts and I went dancing every weekend. But then 2004 my mother died, she was only 51 years old. I was devasteted. For one year I did nothing else than went working, came home, mourning, listening to our music (REM; Jonny Cash, Fruiscante, Cure). I couldn´t sleep, so I drank a lot and lost a lot of weight. After one year I had to decide what to do, I had to change something. So I stopped drinking ,..tried to go on but I had to stop listening to music also because it made me sad. Too much memories… 2009 a friend of mine posted „ All Sparks“ on facebook. I cannot describe what happened..it was electrifying…This voice…this music… !!! I bought all 3 CD´s which were released until then , and one song was better than the other..your music touched my heart and my soul. My first Editors live concert – I was out of it. Your music make me sing, make me dance, make me laugh and make me cry and I don´t care .. You played „ Even an end has a start“ and I thought…“Yeah..that´s how it is“ You came on your own..that ´s how you leave“ and „Some things should be simple…even an end has a start…. There is so much trueness in it. The „end“ of my music abstinence was the“ start" of so much joy that you keep giving me … I can allow and enjoy all the feelings that music activate again. You gave me the joy of listening and celebrating music back and I did so at many of your concerts that I visited over the last 10 years. So there´s only one thing left to say and I would like to say it with the words of a favourit band of mine when I was a child: „Thank you for the music ♥“ (and I hope you can understand my shitty English ;) )
