Editors runs through our veins
From : Lara
I'm so glad I've found this... Many songs and lines to identify: Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors (a painful memory of what really matters in this life) Distance (that train trip) Life Is A Fear (learning to drive) In This Light And On This Evening (a reaffirmation or a promise) Fingers In The Factories (my brother, whom I turned into another Editorsmaniac) Keep a light on those you love / They will be there when you die (never forget I'm not alone) If there really was a God here / He'd have raised a hand by now (there was never a sign) Black Gold (fully identified) Camera (one of the most important people in my life) Practically all the lyrics of "The Weight Of Your Love" I could put more, but I will only add the most important: Well Worn Hand. Perhaps your most heartfelt and heartbreaking song; It contains so much symbolism for me that when my last moment comes in this world, I will leave instructions for it to sound at my funeral. That voice will sing for me one last time.
The Black Gold Archives

Welcome to the Black Gold Archives. Explore the timeline as it chronicles sixteen tracks that make up the Black Gold greatest hits record and discover stories from each song. Videos, photos and memories written by the band and people who lived through every era of Editors. And, most importantly, add your own memory to the archives and let the whole world share in it. Every memory that is shared will be added to the archive. A photo of a tiny, sweaty gig in the early 2000s… A grainy video taken from your old camera phone thrust in the air while you lived out your favourite festival moment… Or maybe words. A story, a moment, a memory.

Explore the Black Gold Archive at your leisure and share in the moments that crafted Editors. And don’t forget to leave something to show the world that you were part of the journey too.
