The most intimate concert in germany
From : Markus Graskamp
Editors have a gig on the rolling stone weekender in Weißenhäuser Strand. its near my home town and i´m very happy to see the editors again. I drive by car to the little festival 50 km from me and my anticipation is very big. At the beginning of the set, i hear the Editors plays a spontaneous acoustic show with only one day of preperation time. It´s because illness from one guitarist of the band. I was very curious what to expect and i wasn´t disappointed. it was so intimate and so big to present a concert with so short preparation. the little mistakes are human and shows me the true size of the band. I don´t forget the evening with the Bruce Springsteen Cover "Dancing in the dark" and the great set list from tom and his band. The worst moment of the evening: One man in the croud says to another: " Can´t the play something faster? It´s so smooth and slow." Some people don´t know accoustic sets and can´t be grateful and satisfied. thank you guys for this moment and this evening. i don´t know one concert from you, that was bad. always very good setlists and enjoyment of playing. sorry for my bad grammar, i hope you understand this. I must search at the web for some lost words. ;-))
